The AI Walkthrough Note feature in the Zuper mobile app enables technicians to record videos with audio and capture photos simultaneously. You can also use Dual-Camera Mode to record from both front and rear cameras simultaneously and pause or resume recordings without starting over. After the walkthrough session, Zuper AI will transcribe and summarize your audio, combining it with the videos and photos to create clear, organized job notes. In this guide, we will walk you through how to capture videos and use dual camera mode in the AI Walkthrough note feature effectively, step by step, so you can create detailed, accurate job notes with minimal effort.
Prerequisite: Ensure that the feature is enabled for your organization. If it is not enabled, contact our account admin or email [email protected] to have it enabled.

Offline Capabilities

The AI Walkthrough Note feature also supports limited offline functionality, allowing technicians to continue capturing essential job details even without an active internet connection. Here’s what you can do offline:
  • Walkthrough Video Recording: Record walkthrough videos (up to 3 minutes).
  • Dual Camera Mode: Use dual camera to capture video from both front and rear cameras simultaneously.
  • Transcription (iOS Only): On iOS devices, audio transcription will continue to work offline, ensuring your voice input is converted to text.
    1. On Android devices, transcription will not work offline. However, you can still record videos with voice input. Your voice will be captured as part of the video but will not be transcribed until the device reconnects to the internet.
  • AI Capabilities: AI-powered features such as Summarization, Clean Up, and Translate require an internet connection and are not available offline on either platform.
Once the device reconnects to the internet, you can go to the note containing the recorded content to perform Zuper AI actions, such as transcribing audio (if applicable) and applying AI enhancements like summarization or translation.
